Acne Studios joins forces with Hussein Chalayan for a 12-piece capsule collection that brings the British-Cypriot designer’s experimental vision into the Swedish house’s contemporary wardrobe. Revisiting some of Chalayan’s defining collections from the early 2000s, including Ventriloquy, Medea and Manifest Destiny, the collaboration explores the meeting point between conceptual fashion and everyday dressing.
Denim takes centre stage, alongside jersey and leather, with patchworked jeans, twisted silhouettes and asymmetrical constructions that reinterpret Chalayan’s signature approach to form. Acne Studios’ iconic Camero bag also receives a patchworked leather makeover.
Photographed at London’s V&A East Storehouse, the accompanying campaign places the collection alongside pieces from Chalayan’s archive, creating a dialogue between past and present.
The collaboration also includes Reference: Hussein Chalayan, a limited-edition book of 1,000 copies exploring the designer’s enduring influence on fashion and design.
