“For every distance from the eye there is a peculiar kind of beauty,” wrote John Ruskin in The Stones of Venice. For Bottega Veneta Winter 2026, that distance becomes a matter of perspective. The second collection by Creative Director Louise Trotter is captured through the eyes of eight photographers, each lending their own visual language to a collective portrait of the House. Over eight days in February, the collection shifts between viewpoints, revealing itself through movement, texture and detail. Structure meets softness; generous volumes come alive on the body, while craftsmanship draws the gaze closer. Documented in Zine 002, the project moves beyond the runway to explore the dialogue between intimacy and performance. No single image is asked to define the collection. Instead, eight perspectives come together, reminding us that beauty often changes depending on where we choose to stand.
