BETWEEN TWO WORLDS

For Valentino’s Fall/Winter 2026–27 campaign, Interferenze, Alessandro Michele explores the magnetic tension between precision and instinct, history and modernity. Photographed by Glen Luchford inside Rome’s Centrale Montemartini, the campaign places the collection against a striking industrial backdrop, where traces of the past coexist with the machinery of a more modern age. Contrasts become a language of their own: color, texture and volume collide, overlap and respond to one another. Michele’s silhouettes inhabit this charged space with an unexpected intimacy, creating a dialogue between clothes, bodies and architecture. Rather than resolving these oppositions, Interferenze embraces their friction, revealing beauty in the unexpected encounter of seemingly distant worlds.
