A new chapter begins for ICICLE. The fashion house has appointed Sabato De Sarno as Creative Director, overseeing its womenswear and menswear ready-to-wear, accessories and eyewear. His first collection for the house will be unveiled for Fall/Winter 2027–28.
The appointment brings together ICICLE’s long-standing philosophy of reconnecting people with nature and De Sarno’s own approach to design, rooted in material, craftsmanship and longevity. After beginning his career at Prada, followed by Dolce & Gabbana, De Sarno spent more than a decade at Valentino before taking the creative helm at Gucci in 2023. Known for his precise eye, refined construction and attention to the product itself, he now enters a house where the dialogue between nature, culture and craftsmanship has been cultivated for nearly three decades.
For ICICLE, his arrival signals both continuity and evolution: a new creative perspective grounded in the belief that what we wear begins long before the finished garment.
